This exquisite Flemish style ensemble is suitable for the highest Noblewoman and is unique in its design and fabric/trim choices. The overdress is of very high quality taffeta, medium weight for cooler weather, and has a Flemish style deep V front with silver and black gothic scroll woven jacquard trim on the neckline and silver and black cording. The beautiful gothic trim is repeated on the entire flaired hemline (suitable for crinolines) and down the length of the sleeve openings (4) as well as sleeve hemlines. There are over 10 yards of this gorgeous trim on the set! The sleeves may be left unlaced for warmer days and they lace ith literally dozens of black and white grommets, to show the undersleeves through. The undergown is blood red and a straight sleeve kirtle in cotton. This ensemble features comfort, practicality and maximum star appeal!
