It measures 57 inches, and is made of stainless steel, gold and silver It's had a little refinishing to remove rust from mishandling, and some of the gold paint has chipped off the hilt, but it is nothing that cannot be repaired. Gold paint is delicate, and this is a showpeice. Even in storage care must be taken to preserve the quality of this blade. Despite it being for show, this blade is still sharp and dangerous.
